THE HISTORY OF SEAWEED
Seaweed therapy has been around for centuries. Also known as Thalassic-therapy or Algae therapy, the properties of seaweed have been used for thousands of years!
Seaweed therapy is popular today in Europe (Eire, Northern Ireland and Britany). In France (Brittany) hospitals refer patients to Thalassic seaweed centres to aid rehabilitation for muscular injuries, tendonitis, sports & post operative rehabilitation.
Seaweed is said to help with Arthritis, Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid sufferers, people with Eczema and Psoriasis, or just muscular injury and tension.
Seaweeds contain many important vitamins including B vitamins and important minerals. Seaweed is rich in magnesium, manganese and iodine.
